La Fosse Places New Chairman at Leading Fintech Firm Ixaris

High-growth technology, digital and change recruiter La Fosse Associates is thrilled to announce their placement of renowned fintech innovator David Sear as Non-Executive Chairman of fast-growing London firm Ixaris. The search was completed by Jack Denison, head of La Fosse’s Financial Services and Fintech Interim practice, which is rapidly making a name for itself as a leader in the private equity and financial services market.

A highly regarded entrepreneur and investor in fintech firms for more than 20 years, David co-founded the FTSE 100 global payment powerhouse WorldPay. He was also the Group Chief Executive of Skrill, which was sold to Optimal Payments (now Paysafe) for €1.1 billion in 2015.

David previously lead the global rollout of both the Travelex Cash Passport travel card business, which sold to MasterCard in 2011 for $500m, and Travelex Global Business Payments, which was bought by Western Union in 2012 for $1bn.
