Peter Sweetbaum placed into Ethixbase360 as CEO by La Fosse Executive

La Fosse Executive is delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Sweetbaum as CEO of Ethixbase360. This marks La Fosse’s second successful board placement into the business, having brought Bob Mann into the company as Chairman last year.

La Fosse was mandated by CGE partners on an international CEO search for Ethixbase360, a leading provider of ESG and third-party risk management software and services. Ethixbase360 was acquired by CGE Partners in 2021. CGE invests in purposeful businesses that provide mission-critical solutions to key global challenges. They invest €30-100 million of equity into any one business, partnering with management teams who have a real ambition to grow.

Ethixbase360 serves a varied blue chip client base via its proprietary SaaS platform and complementary deep-dive ESG due diligence reports. The organisation has a headcount of circa 200 employees located across the UK, US, and Malaysia. With heavy investment in its technology platform contributing to high customer ratings, the business is well-positioned for rapid future growth and sustained expansion on a global scale.

Utilising in-depth industry mapping, cross-sector deal tracking, and its established international network across various technology verticals, La Fosse ran a thorough and streamlined process. This was a search mandate with a global footprint, covering core candidate pools in both the UK and US. The end-to-end search process was delivered efficiently and in a short time frame.

Peter Sweetbaum is a veteran CEO, with over 20 years of experience scaling technology companies and a robust track record with private equity. Prior to his role at Ethixbase360, Peter was CEO of Content + Cloud, an international cloud services provider backed by ECI Partners. Under his eight-year tenure as CEO, Peter added over £120m to the company’s top-line revenue, culminating in a successful trade sale to Advania Group in 2021.
