About:

Preqin is a B2B market intelligence business, providing financial data and information on the alternative assets market, as well as tools to support investment in alternatives. Its data encompasses private capital and hedge funds, as well as market-wide benchmarks.

Requirement:

Preqin reached out to us to help with the recruitment of a new CTO. Their existing CTO was transitioning into a CPO position and they were looking for someone who could complement their skillset to form a strong technology leadership team and take the wider team to the next level during a time of significant growth.

Solution:

We worked closely with the senior leadership team of Preqin to understand the requirements, background for the role, as well as the company strategy and existing culture. We presented a shortlist of 7 candidates, of which 2 were taken to final interview. The process took 10 weeks in total to reach an accepted offer for the preferred candidate.

Result:

La Fosse placed a candidate with extensive relevant industry background knowledge, as well as experience leading teams through periods of significant change and growth. The client particularly liked their dynamic personality and ambitious nature that had allowed them to rise through the ranks at record pace.
