What is ConnEx? 

ConnEx is our movement to connect charities with the world’s leading C-suite executive talent, on an advisory basis, completely free of charge. We believe that giving back isn’t just about financial donations; it’s about mobilising the expertise and insight that business leaders possess to create systemic, sustained impact. 

We place top-tier executives into advisory roles with charities, providing strategic guidance that helps organisations reach their full potential. This is leadership as a force for change, with a strong focus on purpose, innovation, trust and long-term partnerships. 

The challenge we’re addressing 

Many charities face critical gaps in strategic expertise: 

  • 41% of charities do not have a dedicated digital trustee; boards’ digital skills remain a systemic gap.
  • 54% of charities report finding it hard to recruit and retain staff.

ConnEx bridges this gap by connecting charities with executives who can provide this expertise pro bono.
